Domestic Steel Sales and Export

Eastern Metal Trading Co., Inc., is now and since our first business plan, an active buyer of domestically produced steel.

Our company has held blanket contracts with Domestic Steel Mills for their downgraded and secondary mill production.  This has equated to many thousands of tons of steel in almost every market across the country. These opportunities are ever changing in their scope and availability. 

Eastern Metals continues to reach out to the various traditional domestic sources of metals as well as some non-traditional sources.

Eastern is not a "Broker" of metals. We are a buyer of large positions and hold stock inventory in public facilities, wherever the various opportunities take us. We are also not your traditional steel supplier, our stock positions are based upon specific opportunities, as they present themselves. Our goal is to typically make the quickest and best disposition for the stock positions we take.

While there is still a large market for non-prime metal here in the United States, and while sales into our own domestic market is still our first objective, some of our sales do exit the United States.

Savvy buyers from around the world and across our boarders have found Eastern Metal Trading Co., Inc. to be a source of material which they can buy well enough to incur some freight and handling expenses.
